The demand is high for high school mathematics and science teachers in El Paso and the rest of the nation. The College of Science is committed to improving both the quality and quantity of high school teachers filling this need by supporting our students as they enter the profession. Our degree plans allow you to combine your interest in math and/or science with quality teacher training through our collaboration with the Colleges of Education and Liberal Arts. Note: All College of Science Secondary Education minors must be advised by their CASE advisor each semester in order to register for classes.
