Biochemistry Program

      Biochemistry is the study of living systems through an understanding of chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics and genetics. Furthermore, Biochemistry provides a sound foundation for careers in Medicine, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Industry or Advanced Scientific Research.

 

     The Department of Chemistry now offers a major (B.S. degree) in Biochemistry. This new program is certified by the American Chemical Society and offers a rigorous degree plan that will prepare students for medical school, industry and the most competitive of graduate programs around the country. The degree plan was designed so that students develop technical and problem solving skills.
