Individual research of contemporary topics in Computational Science on the graduate level. This course can be taken more than once at the discretion of the Advisor. Prerequisite: Approval of the student’s advisor.

First semester M.S. thesis course. Prerequisite: Approval of the CPS Graduate Advisor.

Second semester M.S. thesis course. Prerequisite: Approval of the CPS Graduate Advisor.
CPS 6396 Graduate Research(0-0-3)
Individual research of contemporary topics in Computational Science on the doctoral level. This course can be taken more than once at the discretion of the CPS Ph.D. Advisor. Prerequisite: Approval of the CPS Ph.D. Advisor.
CPS 6397 Doctoral Project (0-0-3)
Research project on a contemporary topic in Computational Science on the doctoral level, under direct supervision of a CPS faculty member. Student turns in a written scientific report at the end of the course. Format of the report and other details are determined by the instructor. This course can be taken more than once at the discretion of the CPS Ph.D. Advisor. Prerequisite: Approval of the CPS Ph.D. Advisor.

First semester doctoral dissertaion course. Prerequisite: Approval of the CPS Ph.D. Advisor. (This class cannot be taken concurrently with CPS 6399)
