Andrea was born at a young age and raised in the wilds of northern Minnesota until she reached the endearing age of fourteen when she was loosed on the inhabitants of the Bay Area in California. Upon graduation from high school Andrea was accepted to U.C. Berkeley, under the pretences of being a Pre-Med major. Two years later and after having more fun than college is supposed to be she dropped out and moved to Japan. Andrea describes her experiences in Japan as being one of the major highlights of her life, where she learned about herself and how to accept others as they are. Upon returning to the States Andrea finished her degree in Biology at UND-Grand Forks, while participating in the Ronald E. McNair program. Now at the tender age of 30 and still having "what I want to be when I grow-up problems" Andrea moved to St. Paul and worked for a major convenience store chain for 5 years. During her time in with this fortune 500 company Andrea came to the realization that she would like to be a teacher. So, she completed the required course work, took a slight pay cut, moved to El Paso and has been a 7th grade Science Teacher and Curriculum writer for EPISD for the last 3 years where she has grown and blossomed.
