Graduated from University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Science degree in May 2001. Soon after, moved to San Antonio to work as a Research Assistant for the UT Health Science Center where I performed MRI studies on animals and humans. In addition, I edited and revised grant proposals, protocols and papers for approval and assisted PhD candidates on research papers for publication. I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in teaching science through the MSIS graduate program. This year will began the fourth year of teaching 7th grade science and my first year of teaching 6th grade level science. My teaching career has been at Bassett Middle School, El Paso Independent School District.
