Sandra Rocha graduated from UTEP with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology in 1998 and in 2001 completed another Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. She worked for five years with pregnant/parenting teens and other at-risk students at Fabens High School. Sandra then became a community supervision officer (probation officer); working with victims of domestic violence and child abuse. Wanting to challenge herself further, in 2006 Sandra enrolled in the ATCP program at UTEP and has been teaching 7th grade science at Bassett Middle School since Feb. 2007. In addition to teaching Sandra is actively involved with the Crime Victims Rights' Council and enjoys the outdoors.
