Welcome to the Department of Physics at UTEP.  These are very exciting times for our department.  Our undergraduate enrollment has grown faster than we could have ever imagined in the past three years.  These undergraduates, along withour graduate students (who are also increasing in number), are doing amazing things:  presenting research at national meetings, exciting local school children with "Physics Circuses," and even traveling to Washington DC for the third time to participate in the USA Science & Engineering Festival.  Needless to say, we couldn't help these students without dedicated faculty who are deeply involved in a broad spectrum of research topics: experimental and theoretical.  We are still working on this new improved webpage, but our plan is to make it as useful for you as possible.
